lightroom...

hellllllo blog.

I am so excited - I finally got my lightroom program in the mail. It's a lot easier to use than the CS4 photoshop that's for sure. I spent a little time editing a few images, my favorite one is of Bella...duh. Oh, I just love this little girl soooo much!!!!

Bella's first trip to disneyland...

Today we took our little princess to disneyland for the first time. Stephen and I bought annual passes and miss Bella is free until she's 3....yay! I wasn't expecting to stay there for very long considering we went before Bella's nap time, and she's still fighting off a cold, but we put in a solid couple hours....and went on ONE ride. There were so many people there, it was insane! Bella rode of the merry-go-round, and loved it. (as you can tell by her photo - she just kept yelling, "weeeeeeeeeeeee, weeeeeeee")

For the most part, she was just happy being there and seeing all of the fun rides and all the characters. I didn't feel bad leaving considering we have our passes now and can go back anytime we want. We are planning on taking a trip this week sometime after work. The one thing that I wanted to do right when we got there was get Bella her Mickey Mouse ears...she didn't keep them on, but she loves them (I think).

Don't you think she deserves a castle like this one? After all, she is a Princess...

WEEK 13

Hellllllllo second trimester! I can't believe how fast the first one went by. We are now a third of the way closer to meeting our little girl (or boy). This has been a great week, I am starting to have a little more energy and am FINALLY over my cold - the whole Conradi clan is over that nasty bug that went around. I know this doesn't sound like me at all (insert sarcasm here), but I get so freaked out when I think about having a newborn during cold and flu season! Since this baby is due in August that means that he or she will be only 4 months old in December - not old enough to get the flu vaccine...ugh.

Some big news this week - we are taking Bella Boo to Disneyland on Saturday, this will be her first time there! I can't wait to see her face when she sees all of the characters for the first time. We have decided to get annual passes so that we can go frequently - plus, mommy and Bella can go when daddy is at pitching lessons. Some people might think that she's too young to understand Disneyland, but I want her to get some 'solo' attention now before the baby is here, so I think this is the perfect thing.

Bella's new favorite game is "ring around the rosie" - except she calls it, "ashes, ashes, down". She'll tell me, "ashes ashes dooown!" every night, so Stephen and I sing and walk around in a circle and then we all fall down. Ohhh, the little things in life that make her so happy! She also has a few new words: butterfly (yes, I know!), horsey, socks, shoes - she even said 'Monday' in circle time at daycare! I can't believe how quick she's growing up!!

Week 13 - baby is now the size of a peach

Here are some cool facts about the baby at week 13:
  • Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords
  • Baby is approaching normal proportions, with his/her head now only one third the size of his/her body.
  • Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy - much more convenient.

LOVE day.

Valentine’s day was a little different this year. It usually consists of Stephen and I going out to dinner or having a date of some sort, but with all of us getting over colds and with Stephen's job - this year was a quiet night at home with just me and my Bella boo. Last year was officially her first Valentine's day, but she was only 4 months old so she didn't really understand. This year things were totally different, we even made valentine's day cards for all of the other kids at Linda's house! Stephen and I got her new books (her Minnie Valentine's day book even came with stickers (her FAVORITE thing right now) and we got her some clothes of course. My mom started the same tradition with Bella that she did with me...every Valentine's day I got a new bathing suit, because that's when all of the new spring lines came out - ohhhh man, she's in trouble! So of course, Isabella got her first two-piece, with matching sandals and a cover up too. She's going to be the cutest baby by the pool this summer.

I told Bella that she looked so pretty in her Valentine's day dress....she said "thank you". I can't believe how grown up she looks in this picture...so different compared to the year before (right below)...she was my 'little baby valentine" - it goes by WAY TOO FAST.

Baby Conradi #2

I finally created my chalk board for my weekly belly bump pictures :) Stephen still needs to attach the crown molding to the sides to create the finished product, but I can still write on it for now...

I feel like I'm behind on tracking things for this pregnancy! I can honestly say that with having a 16 month old running around, I do get a little side tracked...but, no excuses! There are a few other things that I need to do and post to this blog as well - 1.) take pictures of Bella in her "Big Sister" shirt 2.) I still need to post the pictures of my pregnancy tests (alllll 4 of them) on my blog... and 3.) since I am 11 weeks 4 days along, I think it's time to post actual pictures of my chalk board! so here we go...

As you already know....we're having ANOTHER baby! ha! I want to keep things in order (as much as possible, at least) so this was my first chalk board post...We were given a due date of August 25th, but considering I have to have a C-Section, the birth will be scheduled one week before that. We can guess and say anytime between August 15-19th?? Whenever it is, we will be ready to meet him or her!

Week 10 - ohhh how I love my little prune :)

Here are some cool facts about the baby at week 10:

  • Baby has working arm joints, and her cartilage and bones are forming.

  • Her vital organs are fully developed and they're starting to function.

  • Her fingernails and hair are starting to appear, too.

  • Plus, she's swallowing and kicking in there. (Can you believe it?!)

  • Baby is about 1.2 inches long and weighs about .14 ounces.

  • Baby's body length will almost double in the next three weeks.

  • Week 11 - baby is now the size of a lime

Here are some cool facts about the baby at week 11:
    • You can't see it, but she's moving fluidly and gracefully in there.
    • Her skin is see-through, but she's on her way to looking more like a baby.
    • Her fingers and toes aren't webbed anymore.
    • Tooth buds, hair follicles and nail beds are forming.
A few updates from the mommy-to-be...

How far along? 11 weeks 4 days

Maternity clothes? unfortunatley yes I have to wear them already...nothing like the first pregnancy. My stomach went into baby bump mode right away, they (pregnancy experts, ha!) say that this is normal for second pregnancies.
Stretch marks? Just the same ones that I got the first time around :/
Sleep: I want to ALL THE TIME!!!
Best moment this week: On Friday we got to see our little one in another ultrasound! He or she was already moving around and we saw TINY legs kicking...so awesome!
    Miss Anything? Wine.
    Movement: Not yet
    Food cravings: Fruit

Anything making you queasy or sick: Meat and the smell of licorice...EWWWW!!!
Have you started to show yet: Yessss!

Wedding rings on or off? On

Weekly Wisdom: Start walking every night, my back pain seems so be getting better after my visits to the chiropractor - but I don't want it to come back...so WALK, WALK, WALK!
